APT & Seabourn team up to elevate expedition cruising

Two luxury travel brands have announced a formidable partnership offering expedition cruising to some of the world’s best wilderness destinations.

Australian family owned touring and cruise company APT will team up with ultra-luxury cruise line Seabourn in a multi-year partnership starting in 2025 that promises to “redefine luxury expedition cruising”.

APT will charter two of Seabourn’s ultra-luxe expedition vessels — Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit — to destinations including the UK, Faroe Islands, Iceland, Greenland, the Kimberley from 2025, and Antarctica from 2026.

The ships are two recent additions to the Seabourn fleet custom-built to PC6 Polar Class standard and among the most technologically advanced expedition small ships on the market today, capable of sailing in many remote and diverse environments. They include expert expedition teams of up to 24.

Seabourn president Natalya Leahy says partnering such a trusted name in the travel industry marked an exciting phase for expedition cruising.

Itineraries for Northern Europe, the Arctic and the Kimberley are on sale now. APT’s new Antarctica itineraries will be available to book in early March for 2026 departures.
