Gosnells: Police issue appeal after terrifying 4WD hit-and-run left pedestrian seriously injured
Detectives have called for witnesses to come forward after a pedestrian was struck by a 4WD during a late-night walk.
Police say the man, aged in his 30s, was walking on the footpath near Corfield and Verna streets in Gosnells around 9.30pm on March 29 when the vehicle mounted the footpath, crashing into him.
The vehicle, described as a white four-wheel drive, fled the scene in an unknown direction without stopping to help the seriously injured man.
The victim attended a nearby home known to him before emergency services were notified of the incident.
He was rushed to Fiona Stanley Hospital, where he received treatment for serious injuries.

Detectives have urged anyone who saw the incident or has vision of the crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
