

The South West region came to the aid of pensioner Bert Reynolds, who lost his wallet containing $700. Mr Reynolds, who was grieving the passing of his wife four days earlier, was going to use the money to pay for her funeral. An appeal on Golden West Network radio raised $1100 in 15 minutes to replace the money for him.
